Troubleshooting - read this first

Having trouble signing in to the message board? Getting a message that says "That username/password was not found or is inactive. Please try again."?

Any of the following will cause your sign in to fail:

[*] You do not have an active and verified account on the main part of the site
[*] You entered an incorrect username (nickname or email address) or password
[*] You have initiated, but not completed, a password reset or account recovery

For Service Providers only:

[*] You have not yet defined a nickname (do that in the My Account page on the main part of the site)
[*] You do not have an active profile in the Directory

Please can you tell me how I can add a signature to my posts.

Ihave clicked the box about adding a signature but where can I compose a pithy witty addendum to my words of wisdom?

On the top of screen, click on Control Centre.

Once here, under the Personal Profile bit on the left, there are various options - select "Edit Signature".

I didn't notice at first but it looks like each time you have to tick a box above the space you write in to have your signature added to that message.

There may be a way to add it automatically that I haven't spotted.

using the link supplied by IN go to the forum settings, when opened you should see "Add my signature to this message" checked by default:

change this to "yes" and your sig should be added to each post you make

Once you go off the site and then come back on a few hours later,you cant edit comments for spelling mistakes.Well i cant.

There is a ten minute time limit for editing one's own posts.
