Is the Coronavirus fears going to stop you from seeing an escort?

Everywhere, there seems to be a lot of fear and anxiety about the Coronavirus. How do you feel? Last week, I had a good one hour session with an escort. Today, I feel as though I should give punting a break until we reach the end of this health crisis.

Are any escorts taking a temporary break?

One of the things I enjoy the most about escorts is the physical intimacy that starts from the French Kiss. Now, I fear that I could get the Coronavirus from kissing. I really do feel that I'm in the best health of my life. So, should I be patient for a few more months? Some experts think that things might improve when the weather gets warmer. But, what if this goes on for months?

What do you think? Are you going to stop seeing escorts for the time being?

I am also worried by the situation as WGs have close contact with lots of people, however, I am going to continue for now. The number of cases is still very low so the chances of catching CV from a WG is still negligible. However, I will keep an eye on it and if, as expected, the number of cases rises rapidly then I will give up until the situation improves.

Other outcomes are that they develop a vaccine (likely to be 18 months away), or I catch CV, and survive, therefore have immunity so can go back to punting once I'm completely recovered.

I have a free few days ahead and been looking forward to doing some punting, but now am in the quandary of whether to do so or not. I know the incidence of CV is very low as yet, but sexwork is likely to be a major spreader of the disease. Maybe it's OK to punt now, but in another couple of weeks it would be grossly irresponsible. I'm afriad I don't have any anwers!

Yes I am worried, yes I have close contact with a few people - more worried about my outside contact which can be broader and whether or not I can visit London as planned in a few weeks. The person I live with works from home already, when I travel most of the time it's solo in my car or very, very occasionally use the train which I will do in a few weeks. I also attend groups and meetings some of which involve holding hands and hugging, there are vulnerable people there as there ar at home. I am most likely to bring CV into my home so there is quite a bit of thinking going on in my head, also I do not have any sick pay bar whatever I can obtain based on my NIC contributions. There is another occupation I sidelined last year to keep going with my passion (Escorting), until I figured out a way forward. Perhaps the outbreak will take me back to that I do not know/

For now it's raised my awareness of where I put my hands outside of bookings and the few sexual contacts I do have. I also have to trust if a client does develop it he will let me know, finally stigma. It can be easy to point the finger and scapegoat.

I will be ceasing the hugging and hand holding at the meetings I mentioned, I'll be sad to do that but it has to happen especially to protect the vulnerable.

In the meantime I had my flu jab last year and if anyone asks I will encourage them to take this, I also understand the pneumonia vaccine is recommended above a certain age so may mention that. It won't protect against CV-19 but it may lessen complications and also lessen the load on the NHS at a perilous time.

I would also imagine lifestyle comes into this too, once again biggest risk as I see it is being in a room at close quarters with a variety of people. Also I don't tend to be out on the 'pub' scene, I can be fairly isolated for several days. Sometimes only contact is person I live with, and perhaps a client - then again I sometimes don't have any bookings for a couple of days, then it's every day....................so easy to assume isn't it!

This isn't a defence however think about dentists, opticians, personal services eg physios, other treatments. Nail technicians, beauticians all coming into close contact with many more than I have clients.

It was nine days ago I posted those questions to you about the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on punters and the escorts. Last week, I was tempted to see an escort. Then, I decided against it.

Now, I'm wondering about a few more questions. I am in the best physical health of my life. And I haven't had the flu since I was a teenager. So, even if I get this virus, I am confident I would overcome it after a few weeks. This is why I'm thinking of seeing an escort next week. However, would an escort refuse to French Kiss? I always go for the Girlfriend Experience. So, the French Kiss is part of that service, right? Now, do you think escorts might refuse to kiss?

We are told that the incubation period for the virus is 14 days. So, some of us might have it now without realising it. And the same goes to escorts.

Well, I wanted to come here to find out how other guys are dealing with this.

And the guys, who is still going to see an escort? I'm about 90% certain of punting next week.

I would check with the individual Escort whether she is offering kissing or not.

My opinion based on no medical qualification is that this situation could go on for months, and probably will do which is why measures need to be sustainable. In my experience whenever there's a crisis after an initial lull life adjusts, people adjust, punters and escorts adjust and everything falls back into place.

According to BBC News, the German government is "closing down all brothels." We in the UK do not have the German attitude to the escorting industry.

Information about Covid-19 keeps changing every day. So, I'll keep watching the news and see what happens.

It works for the Girls too speaking on behalf of the ladies listed with us they are taking as many precautions as possible hand gel soap etc. We do expect some Escorts will want to take time off just because they find the news a worry. Some European ladies have already returned home. We will stay open throughout all of this. Given that the government's advisors are predicting a very steep rise in cases, maybe the time has come to take a rest from punting. I am in a higher-risk category, but even those at 'low risk' can be seriously affected by CV.

Thank you for the latest contributions here. We have to be sensible now and take a break from punting for a few weeks or months. But, BBC's Newsnight claims that this crisis could last until "Spring 2021."

They are speaking about 'social distancing.' So, this is obviously the complete opposite of punting.

Hard to believe this is all happening.

I saw my favourite escort on monday that will have been the last punt for the next weeks or even months
. Going now or in near future is a very bad idea girls should also close the business down now soon
Far too high is the risk of catching it and giving it to other people.

Hope it goes away soon so punting can resume as normal
