I have just turned 70. I don't do it as much as I did, but it's still great!by dave451 - General Discussion
I have also been back punting since my second jab and enjoyed sessions with some lovely girls. I am concerned about the rapidly rising Covid numbers and even though I am fully vaccinated I think the risk is now at a level where I will pause my punting. Vaccination does not give total protection. It lowers the chances of winding up in hospital and dying but the risk of Long Covid, which is very naby dave451 - General Discussion
Hanging around a parlor for 45 minutes is not a great way to pass time. When this has happened to me I have usually agreed a time to come back before going away for a coffee or something (never alcohol!). Lesson 1 - always leave extra time for your punts as delays can happen even if you book. One one occasion I turned up for a booking but the receptionist had muddled things up as a punter, witby dave451 - General Discussion
I am sure trafficking does exist but from my experience it is not nearly as widespread as the Feminist lobby and the tabloid press make out. Officers working in the Vice Squad will, by definition, experience the illegal side of the sex trade so the 90% figure may be the experience of an office in VS, but they will not routinely encounter girls working legally of their own free will. I have liby dave451 - General Discussion
I was over two weeks past my second jab by the Bank Holiday weekend so felt confident enough to try a visit. I chose a Chinese place that I used before lockdown and, feeling very nervous, made the phone call. Chinese girls move round a lot so you can't rely on the photos and that was true in this case. The lovely young thing in the photos turned out to be mid-thirties, slightly over-weight,by dave451 - General Discussion
I don’t know what Admiral are up to - it’s so obvious the reviews are fake. Perhaps they are getting desperate for customers, if so then lowering their prices might be a better tactic.by dave451 - General Discussion
I am pleased your return was a success. I have had my second jab so will be returning soon. I must say I am feeling a bit of trepidation and hope to find a real gem for my first time back. I have very little faith in UK government’s ability to avoid another major Covid wave and associated lengthy lock down so I want to start making new memories as soon as I can.by dave451 - General Discussion
I think the wide availability of Rapid-Flow tests is a game changer for reducing the risk of catching, or spreading, Covid while punting. Visiting a WG remains a high-risk activity for both the punter and the lady because there is no way to avoid close social contact and Covid remains highly infectious. I was in my pharmacy yesterday and asked when Rapid Flow test kits would be available. Theyby dave451 - General Discussion
Nesslad, I agree. There is still a risk even after vaccinated but it's a question balancing the risk and enjoying life again, not just punting. There is a small chance that a new variant will hit the country forcing a new lockdown and voiding the benefits of existing vaccines, so I am going to take advantage of this window when the risk is relatively low. Yes, I am nervous, partly beby dave451 - General Discussion
Got my second vacccine last week, earlier than I expected, so I am now on the countdown to returning to punting. I did not expect, when I put my trousers back on in March 2020, that it would be over a year before my next punt. We knew then that Covid was serious but I never thought it would take this long before my next punt. I am feeling sooooooo nervous!by dave451 - General Discussion
Well said Nesslad. Many first-time punters are worried about security and will they get robbed etc. Like you, I have visited girls in many cities round the world, but the only time I got taken was in London's Soho. A girl picked me up on the street (never a good idea) and we went to "Her Flat" nearby. She made a phone call but said the flat would not be ready for 10 minutes so we hby dave451 - General Discussion
Lucky you getting fully vaccinated - mine is a couple of weeks away then the three-week wait which will be very frustrating. The industry has changed, as you say, with Covid and Brexit. I am also looking and I have widened my list of web sites. These include acemassage.net adultseek.com, kommons.com as well as my old ones like adultwork.com and vivastreet.co.uk. In my area there are now moreby dave451 - General Discussion
<<Nesslad>> I agree with you. I am scheduled to have my second jab soon, then I will wait a couple of weeks before resuming. I understand this will not be risk free, but I think the chance of becoming seriously ill are now low enough to go back. Maybe the government should issue rapid-flow tests to WGs or at least make it legal for them to buy these kits. I will change a few thingby dave451 - General Discussion
I guess Al Fresco meets are posible, without social distancing, in UK from today!by dave451 - General Discussion
The number of ads on Vivastreet etc. is still quite high. AceMassage is showing most girls 'On Holiday'. I guess this shows they still want to stay in the industry but are waiting for lockdowns to be lifted. I'm not sure if AM charges girls to show an 'On Holiday' advert, if not, the girls might just be keeping options open. I guess most punters (me included) are waitby dave451 - General Discussion

Punting is not currently permitted under the Covid rules, (unless one punter and one WG meet outdoors and remain 2m apart). Boris announced his road map, which is subject to lots of if, buts and maybees. If it all goes to plan, this is what I think it means but I am not a lawyer. From 29th March outdoor gatherings in public and private gardens will be allowed. So, unless you are an exhibiby dave451 - General Discussion
I, for one, am not punting at the moment, as it’s far too risky, so no reviews. Once I get vaccinated and infection rates drop I will be back.by dave451 - General Discussion
Bindel has been banging this drum for years. She ignores evidence that laws making paying for sex illegal are ineffective. For example, such a law was introduced into Northern Ireland in 2005 but the number of WGs advertising their services did not reduce (https://docs.google.com/document/d/17IDHh9G9o7y_hdRFqvs--segHxzg4Z4synQ6jXkmKz4/edit?usp=sharing). During Lockdown I have been reading about punting in years gone by. The Georgian era is particularly popular on TV etc. at the moment so I looked into punting then. I came across Harris's List which is an almanac of Covent Garden WGs and I have summarised my findings: This was a very different time, but some things have not changed!by dave451 - General Discussion
I never really thought about punting until a chain of events got me started. Until then, I thought WGs were like the tabloid press stereotypes; wrong! I broke up with my girlfriend, then unexpectedly went on my first business trip to Hong Kong. A client cancelled a dinner appointment at the last minute so I suddenly had free time. I thought about checking out the bars of Wan Chai but the weatby dave451 - General Discussion
In today's news there is some hope of a new route to enable us to restart punting, and other parts of the sex industry, safely. The current testing process is far too slow and labour intensive to ever suceed, but now they are talking about reliable rapid self-administered testing methods that can give results in minutes and cost a few quid. Unfortunately timescales are not clear - some reporby dave451 - General Discussion
No, not currently punting because CV-19 risk is too high. I don't want it myself and I don't want to pass it on to others, especially those at high risk. In the summer, thing looked far more optimistic, with numbers of infections falling to relatively low numbers and I was beginning to think of returning to my old ways. I did expect a second wave but I did not think it would happenby dave451 - General Discussion

I hope the rapid tests, which are now being worked on, happen because knowing the girl and client are not infected with CV-19 will make punting much safer. Unfortunately the UK governmant does not have a great track record in delivering on promises so we will have to wait and see.by dave451 - General Discussion
This CV-19 thing is really getting me frustrated, so I am trying to do something positive. I have put my name down as a possible Guinea Pig for a vaccine trial. I may not get chosen and if I do I may get a Placebo, but if I get the real deal, and it works, then I have a lot of time to make up so the quicker I can get started the better.by dave451 - General Discussion
I love parties and I am pleased to see a new venue opening, but at the moment it simply is not safe to attend this type of activity. So I will not be participating until the CV-19 situation improves.by dave451 - General Discussion
<<COVID is effectively over. Deaths are just a few now. >> sadly not true. Deaths are still running at hundreds per week, which is lower than it was but still too high for my liking.
