OK I feel really bad... I have been punting for many years and I have just read that a Gang of 3 have been convicted of trafficking via a string of brothels and I think one of them was where I saw some girls. Apparently they were Polish but the purple site said they were Russian. If indeed I saw a trafficked girl?

I talked to the girls before booking, they were older, weren't always available, no dodgy likes. Could it be true that most were there of their own will but occasionally they filled the gaps with trafficked girls?? The bizarre thing is many of the girls I saw are still advertising their services so, if the gang were imprisoned then I would hope it would stop. So maybe not connected. The only real indicator with the benefit of hindsight is that they were very beautiful and not crazy expensive. I guess if too good to be true then....

If you've been punting for many years I'm surprised you're concerned, far less mortified by this. There are far too many ifs, buts and maybe's in your speculation. What you do from now on is up to you. I'd say best forget about it and move on.

This is probably the thing that worries me the most about punting. Having read so many reviews on this site and other punter forums before doing my first punt, made the decision that for the foreseeable future I’m going to stick to well reviewed agencies/parlours. I suppose even then you can’t guarantee it so far I’ve met 5 women in total, three full service and two masseuses and the women I’ve seen do seem to enjoy what they do or at least making lots of money from it.

Yes usually when it is cheap the service is not great or the lady is not the one advertised. In this case all seemed fine and the ladies all seemed relaxed etc. I read somewhere that they were most likely retired porn stars.

I think that the current laws say that the punter is supposed to verify that the girl is not being trafficked. But how is one supposed to do that? Ask to see a passport (pimps usually confiscate them)? She might think that one is a rival pimp who is planning to grab it! If she lets slip that she eats and sleeps in the establishment, that is a very bad sign!

Ok that is encouraging as I can tell that the girl/s do not live in the flat overnight.

I watched the TV programs on Channel 4 and BBC iplayer Apps. The websites to avoid are Adultwork and VivaStreet. The Stacey Dooley investigates on BBC are very good as well.

I agree Taff those programs are really good. I always watch them. Pnet is still great as a resource if you need to do research too!
