Once you get over the fake photos problem, Asians are still a pretty good deal

My last three outings, the most recent this week, have been with Asians from Viva Street and AW and I'd rate them as all being pretty good. Previously they'd be my choice when there was nothing else available, but now I've changed my way of looking at it. And it works for me.

First and foremost, accept that the Asian advert pics in VS and AW are ALL fake. With Europeans and Brazilians (and I've noticed a welcome increase in Brazilians as well) there's the chance that they might/possibly/could be genuine, or close to it. A chance at least. But the young Asian honey in the photo, any photo, is NOT what you're going to get.

When you accept that it eliminates the sense of disappointment when the door opens. Then you can forget the negatives and the fake photos, and concentrate on the positives. Money isn't my priority but £70/£120 for 30/60 mins is cheap. Viewed from a positive angle, with the light dimmed a bit, my last three ain't been bad looking. In their late 30s, or 40s and certainly past their best, but not bad. Think Asian MILF porn. They're OK.

They're also friendly and quite keen on giving you a good time. I haven't come across Asians wiith that horrible tattooed Romanian attitude, "I can't wait to get rid of you" as soon as you've handed over the cash. Asians generally aren't like that.

Also, and excellent if it's what you like, they almost all do OWO, which many others don't. OK it's £20 extra but worth every penny. My last one gave it everything she got, and almost didn't want to get off her knees. That makes a guy feel good.

So forget about the fake photos (and I'm talking only about VS and AW, not agencies which are genuine) and focus on the positives. Cheap, not bad looking, friendly and brilliant OWO. That works for me, and with that mindset I'll go back soon for another Pearl of the Orient, even though I know she won't be a very beautiful pearl.

The low value of the pound is bad news of course, but even before the latest fall in Bangkok freelancers were not budging from 2,000 baht minimum, nearly £50. In the go go bars the charge is double that with a 1,000 baht bar fine and at least one ladies drink on top. That's in the £150 to £200 range, for a "short time" but that's how it is according to multiple reports. It's cheaper in Pattaya but not all that much. The era of £30 for all night is well and truly over.

Regardless, after five years since my last visit I could still afford to go to Thailand and have a very good time. But it now seems a helluva lot of hassle. And there's still the significant risk of catching covid and not being able to get your flight home but being stuck confined in a hotel for an extra week.
