In thin times, making the best of what you can get

Things are nothing like what they were three years ago before covid and Brexit but I'm pretty much accepting that now and just making the best of it. Gone are the days when you could expect to thrillingly meet a genuine Polish beauty for 100 quid, and they're not coming back.

Now the choice in these parts is limited to Asians (cheap but pleasant, 100 per cent fake pics, usually in their 40s and overweight). Romanians (who knows what you'll get). Brazilians (expensive, and unpredictable), and a few other odds and sods whose ads you glance at and move on.

My last two outings have been OK, mainly because I now go not expecting much. A chubby pleasant "mature" Asian a month ago was quite enjoyable for £90 including OWO. I mean you can't complain at that. And last week I went to see a young woman, who of course turned out to be Romanian, who was actually in her 20s, quite attractive and had a sense of humour. At first glance I thought 30mins for £80 would be enough but very quickly I decided that 45mins for £110 was a better deal. That was because she was friendly and there was none of the "I can't wait to get rid of you" attitude.

So in this new era I was quite pleased. And I'll very soon be going again. Sadly, in the provinces at least all the young Polish beauties, and many were stunners, have buggered off back to Warsaw. They're a helluva loss. So I don't expect much at all when I go on a visit these days, and that means I'm often quite pleased, at least, with what I get.

Yes, it's a fairly long haul but for some time I've felt it would be worth it. There are a couple of agencies in Edinburgh but they seem poorly organised, no phone replies, a failed address for emails etc. I'm sure that the highly alluring London agencies like the ones you've referred to now and before are well organised, efficient and the real deal.
