You only put a booking request through once you`ve agreed things beforehand.
No point making one if she won`t be available.

Hence it's not unreasonable to just make a booking because by definition you can't book unless they've said they're available

Don`t need to bother with the booking system, that`s just for feedback purposes.
People were still meeting during covid when AW disabled the booking system, plus a lot don`t make themselves as available in their calendar, lot of pissing around and too much administration.
