I recently had a email from a companion i was due to see in two weeks time (arranged a meet two weeks ago) who now wants a deposit or for me to call her on the day to book the date (if she is free).

Decided to pass on the meet and usually happy to pay a deposit but she has "changed her booking arrangements" only recently.

I get there are timewasters out there but i have read about scammers too.....I've a plan B so all is not lost..

What do you guys think about deposits?

In principal for a professional transaction I have no issues with a deposit.

However until i know an escort I can't judge her professionalism?

Then how do I pay discreetly on line without an evidence trail my partner can follow?

One day we will do far more transaction online, but at the moment I only use cash for this part of my life, hence I don’t pay deposits.

I only do this to well reviewed ones, who are doing it as a standard practice. I only pay with Amazon vouchers or gift cards, which most of them accept.

Same here,gift cards and would never do bank payments....

I’ve paid deposits 4 times now got scammed twice.won’t pay them again unless I see in feedback that they are good for deposits

There is really no need for this as there are so many scams.

Only reason this may happen is if you are asking a girl to travel a long way or they may ask you to book a taxi otherwise its a no go.

Was looking to book a lady on adultwork who doesn't see anyone with zero feedback unless a deposit is paid and only accepted bank transfer. When I asked if I could pay a more descreat way, she said pop £100 in an envelope and post it in her letterbox. I thought if I'm going to be given her address surly we could just meet. In the end I didn't bother and won't even bother contract if they want a deposit.

Deposits are a huge red flag for me as are requests for I.D - They both have scam written all over them, stay well clear is my advice.

I'd completely avoid any deposits. Far, far too much scope to be ripped off.

Must be lots of people willing to pay a deposit as see more and more ads with this. Probably about half a dozon on my hotlist now I'll never visit. Also seen a few now wanting a face picture sent as well.
